Nice // Blackened Rock

The band born of members of Igorrr and ex Svart Crown infuses a blackened, visceral rock. They shape a a sound that’s both raw,, emotional and hypnotic, giving birth to dense, immersive atmospheres, drawing their full potential on the scene. A first EP is cooking, marking the emergence of a universe torn between introspection and incandescence, including (no big deal), a track featuring Doodeskader.

8:05PM: RED SUN ATACAMA

Bordeaux // Psych-Punk

Living legends of French Fuzz scene, will spin the Castillon pass into orbit ! Their last album ‘Dawn of the Dusk’ shows once more that Mars Red Sky has a lot of room to keep growing their rocket. Takeoff is imminent…

Rennes // Psych, Prog Rock

Standout act of the psychedelic French scene, these bretons (from Brittany) blend brilliantly stoner and prog rock, bringing the harp to the very heart of their compositions. 12PM: EMBERSIGHT

Nice // Metalcore

Rising from the ashes of Common Enemies in 2025, this Nice-based quartet champions a "Y2K" metalcore sound, inspired by bands like Parkway Drive and Counterparts, that strikes a perfect balance between emotion and sonic intensity. Following an outstanding debut EP, “Echoes”, the band is ready to set the Castillon pass ablaze!

1PM: INDYKUSH

Southeast Region France // Groove, Sludge

The sludge/groove metal of our local favorites is making a comeback at the Castillon pass! Formed in 2003, the band is determined to electrify the festival like never before with searing riffs and an unparalleled energy.

2PM: ALPHA DU CENTAURE

Lyon // Post Rock

This post-rock quintet from Lyon is set to take the pass to a stellar level! Formed in 2015, the project has undergone numerous transformations, settling on a new phase that brings back hints of post-metal and black metal. With Nina starting on vocals and synths, and Sébastien on drums, a new chapter has begun, to the delight of our ears. Expect a supernova in Castillon.

3:05PM: MONTAÑITA

Clermont-Ferrand // Pop Psych

Experience weightlessness in Castillon this summer! Formed in 2022, this band from Clermont-Ferrand delivers ethereal lo-fi pop, sitting at the intersection of groups like Slowdive and Sparklehouse. Their latest album, “Dummy Light in the Chaos”, went straight to our hearts with gentle vocal harmonies, dreamlike keyboards, and reverb-drenched guitars. We’re blasting off into orbit with them from the pass!

4:10PM: UNTITLED WITH DRUMS

Clermont-Ferrand // Post-Rock

The most solid quartet from Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de-Dôme) is set to storm the pass this summer! Monolithic in sound, and hailed by the specialist press following their album “Hollow”, these "French Deftones" return with an EP titled “Symbols”. The release blends shoegaze and post-hardcore, while maintaining the mastery of contrast that defines the band's identity. Built on reinforced concrete foundations, this act is bulletproof.

Toulon // Punk, Garage Rock

A massive ray of sunshine is heading to the pass! The Toulon-based band delivers a radiant, energetic blend of garage, pop, and punk rock, following directly in the footsteps of Ty Segall, Kurt Vile, and The Hives. They’ll be coming to the pass this summer to showcase their latest release, “Fake Brutal” (out on Howlin Banana Records), much to our delight! Clear blue skies ahead for Castillon.

7:45PM: SPLEEN

Montpellier // Metalcore

The finest metal act from Montpellier in the South-West is coming to Castillon this summer. Melancholy. Rage. Catharsis. The tone is set by Spleen, who, with their latest singles “Withering” and “Swanging Teeth”, deliver raw, sincere metalcore that balances power and emotion. Better warm up your neck; it’s going to be a wild ride.

9PM: TONS

Torino (IT) // Sludge, Doom

Italy’s most seasoned quartet is coming to shake the Castillon pass. With seismic riffs and sinister vocals, TONS will unleash their deliciously crafted fuzz, featuring their new album “Stoned Villains”, out April 20th via Heavy Psych Sounds. Watch out for bad weeds…

10:20PM: IN OTHER CLIMES

Nice // Thrash-Hardcore

Living legends of the Côte d’Azur, In Other Climes champion an uncompromising brand of hardcore thrash, fully intent on tearing it up at every show. It is impossible to resist their chaotic, uncompromising party spirit and a raw intensity unmatched in their scene. Watch out, the storm is brewing…

11:40PM: WITCHTHROAT SERPENT

Toulouse // Doom

These folks from Toulouse handle doom like no other. Their macabre artistic direction, tinged with a perfectly controlled Electric Wizard-ian whiff, has convinced purists to make one of the strongest bands in France. Their last piece to date, “Trove Of Oddities At The Devil's Driveway”, out 3 years ago already at Heavy Psych Sounds confirms their status of monument the French fuzz.
